Loving Your Neighbour

Jesus often gave unorthodox answers to orthodox questions.  Like, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?"  If ever there was a time to share the '4 Spiritual Laws' (or something like it), this was it.  Yet he didn't.  What did he say?  Why?
