Vision Print E-mail
God has given us a vision for a fellowship of believers that is:
  • Loving, caring and excited about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Consistently extending the warmth of its fellowship outside its members and sharing Christ's love to the unchurched world.
  • Growing numerically, primarily through "new birth".
  • Growing spiritually, such that every believer is increasing in his or her knowledge of God and understands, develops and uses spiritual gifts and talent God has given.
  • Known for its commitment to Biblical principles and a clear and consistent teaching of the Bible.
  • Praying frequently, urgently, and collectively.
  • Worshiping and exalting the triune God and regularly remembering the Lord Jesus Christ in communion.

A Synopsis of Our Beliefs Print E-mail
  • We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is therefore worthy of our full confidence for life and practice.
  • We believe in one God, eternally existent as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that Jesus’ death is the only basis for forgiveness of sin, that His bodily resurrection is proof of our redemption, and that He will return for His church at the end of this age.
  • We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit. He convicts of sin. He indwells, gifts, and empowers believers in Christ and is a pledge of their final redemption.
  • We believe that man was divinely created in the image of God, that by Adam’s original and our subsequent sin we have become separated from God, that we are inherently unable to regain holiness, and therefore rightly under the condemnation of God.
  • We believe that the only salvation from man's sin is offered by God through the sacrifice of Jesus accepted by exclusive belief in Jesus as Forgiver (Saviour) and Leader (Lord).
  • We believe the Church is a spiritual fellowship of believers with Jesus as the head.
  • We believe the Lord calls believers to participate in the church, particularly with the ordinances of believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper (communion).
  • We believe that every believer has direct access to God without need of an earthly priest, and that no person, church, or decree can come between the believer and his Lord.
  • We believe that all believers are part of the body of Christ and as such have the right and responsibility of local church affiliation, and ministry.
  • We believe that under the Lordship of Christ the local church is self-governing, led by a plurality of leaders known as Elders.
  • We believe that both the believer and unbeliever will experience resurrection, the former unto conscious eternal life and the other unto conscious eternal punishment.
  • We believe marriage is the union of one man and one woman under God; that this union is exclusive of all others, dissolvable only by death; that the stable Christian home is the preferred environment for raising children, and that expression of sexual behavior is exclusively reserved for one man and one woman who are married to each other.
